Vice ChairCo-Founder of Rézme and Deputy Director of Technological Innovation at Cornell University ILR School. Jodi overcame poverty, foster care, and incarceration to earn both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Stanford University, and is passionate about creating opportunities for every citizen to thrive.

Marjorie Rist
Treasurer, Co-FounderMarjorie Rist
Treasurer, Co-FounderWith 25+ years in the correctional industry, including service as a Chief Probation Officer in California, Marjorie brings first-hand experience across all decision-making points from pretrial to parole. As co-founder and current advisor, she helps bring hope, skills, and opportunity to people who need it most.

Jessica Dickerson

SecretaryA software engineer at Gusto, Inc. and a Persevere graduate. Jessica completed the program in 2020, worked as a developer, then returned as a coding instructor. She continues to mentor students, guest speak for classes, and give back to the organization that helped change her life.

Stephen Davis

DirectorNearly 30 years of experience in the construction industry as founder of The Will Group, named by Black Enterprise Magazine as one of the Top 100 Black businesses in the country. Stephen and his family created the William and Mary Davis Foundation, funding programs that help individuals find purpose and empowerment.

DirectorServed as Program Manager, co-CEO, and Regional Director for Persevere from 2019 to 2023, growing the Arizona program to three locations and opening operations in South Carolina, Virginia, Florida, and Nebraska. As Sean Hosman’s oldest son, his passion for the Persevere movement is deeply personal.
